I was just putting the finishing touches on an upcoming video for the annual Sound/Image competition at Selskab For Dansk Fotografi (release October 2026), with the Cliffstreamers providing the soundtrack, when saxophonist Mark Meiwords from Klinte & The Klintells, who was helping out, asked:

“Why are those guys doing a fashion show? They and their banjos don’t fit in at all. That’s a job for us.”

“Well, of course they’re not. The job has been given to the Klintells. If the Cliffstreamers turn up, it’ll be on their own dime, as part of the audience.”

Mark looked puzzled.

“What? I haven’t heard anything about us doing a fashion show.”

“Oh. Sorry. That’s because the horn section isn’t coming. Just the rhythm section and the new singer, Richy.”

“No sax?”

“No. Young women get frightened by horn players.”

“Did you say Richy? If there’s anyone who scares women, it’s him. They say he’s ultra-creepy.”

Was Mark just jealous, or is there something to it?
