My accountant barged into my office without so much as knocking. "We need a summer hit!"

I pointed out that summer was practically over, and that we'd only just released I Can Swim—complete with swimming pool, cocktails, and all the other essential summer clichés.

"Yes, but that's intellectual artsy-fartsy nonsense. We need something young people can dance to like there's no tomorrow!" "But young people aren't exactly our target audience. Unless they happen to have exceptionally good taste in music. Besides, we're not doing this for the money."

She stared at me for a moment with a look that suggested she'd just found my weak spot.

"Or is it simply because you can't make dance music?"

Well... now we know. Stung by the accusation, I went away and knocked this together. It is, in fact, a dance track—just not an electronic one. My education in relentless four-on-the-floor beats is still very much a work in progress.
