Self Portrait

About the Picture

One day I passed a car I saw how my own shadow made it possible to see through the car window and combine some of the background elements with the shadow. It would look like my brain was a green lump.

It reached for my iPhone and used the Hipstamatic app to capture the frame.

The colours was a bit bland and the picture needed some character to it. I then desatured the colours by combing monochrome layers of the picture it self after adding grain. To tighten the composion some vignetting was added to the cornes and the center was brightened. Finaly a dramatic border was applied.
