Montreux Adieu

The opportunity arose to participate in a competition for stage time at the upcoming Montreux Jazz Festival. But that won’t do – Klinte & The Klintells is the opposite of a live band.

However, since art has no requirement for objectivity, it opens the door to play with the idea of participating anyway. So here is the encore we played the last time we were at MJF. A calm bossa nova with sensitive guitar and saxophone – and a touch of big band.

The audience was so captivated, they forgot to applaud after the solo.
